The Crescent FTP Internet Data (CIDCFTP) control gives you access to directory information and to files residing on FTP hosts, local drives, and network drives that cannot be accessed using the standard Visual Basic Data control and the Microsoft Jet Engine. The Crescent FTP Internet Data control is similar to the Visual Basic Data control, in that it lets you navigate from row to row in a data set, displaying the data in bound controls. Many of the properties, methods, and events for the Crescent FTP Internet Data control are modelled after those for the Visual Basic Data control and the Recordset object.
